Having spent a brilliant morning cycling we decided to go out with our guide to see more temples, although these are not as well known they again were remarkable.
In the evening we went into Siem Reap again for supper and this time we were really brave; we had mexican food!! After dinner we had to tell our tuk tuk driver how to get to the hotel; he learnt a new saying 'straight on'!
We started with one from the 900 which was constructed with bricks, then we went to another that had lions and elephants protecting it ( only stone ones).
Then we went to a temple that was built by a king for buddhist and hindu people together, nothing seems to have changed over the years as far as religion is concerned as the buddhist faces had been smashed away by people.
After we had finished this part of the toour we asked to go to the War Museum. This was not as we would thnk a museum should be and certainly was not something put together to show the young in Cambodia the errors of war. We took no phots here as we did not think it was appropriate.
