Our last day in port Douglas and it has been a great trip. The beach is lovely, the water warm and there is no one hassling or trying to sell you a table cloth or drugs! The little town is pleasant lots of places to eat and drink and shop, it's all laid back but also really pretty!
Today after the usual walk/run on the beach we sat by the hotel pool which was very quiet.

Decided to then visit the 'low isles' some islands 15k off the coast
and decided to go by speed boat that got us there in 20 minutes and was great fun. We snorkelled in lovely water and saw lots of fish on the reef, some of them were so friendly! Yes this is a fish about 1 metre in length that was so curious!
Tomorrow we are on the road, or in the air again with a 4 hour flight to Melbourne. We have REALLY enjoyed our time here!
