Sydney

Getting off the ship was probably the quickest we've ever experienced. We were called to depart the ship at 8am and by 8.15 we had our luggage and had passed through the non-existent strict Australian passport control!

As we were so quick getting to the hotel too (5 mins) there were no rooms ready so we went for a walk around the area. It was fab! The weather started rather overcast but it wasn't cold. By noon the sun was shining and the temperature rose to the mid 80's. Sydney looked its best!

We started by walking to the Sydney Opera House.
We went back to the hotel to check in and this was our view!

We then walked to Darling Harbour. Went into the Chinese Garden there which was exquisite, then onto the National Maritime Museum.

We then stopped for a drink and decided to take the harbour cruise for an hour and a half which was fabulous and the weather, as I said glorious. Sydney is the largest natural harbour in the World and feels a great City. We have walked a long way today but there is still more to explore so check out the blog tomorrow!
