P-P-P-Patagonia P-P-P-Penguins

After a reasonable night of being rocked to sleep by the motion of the ocean we arrived in Puerto Madryn, Argentina. There were a couple of sea lions outside our balcony playing in the wake of the ship so that was a good start!

We boarded a coach for a very long trip to Punta Tombo a place where upwards of 700,000 penguins come to breed. Although the weather was wet, it was sort of what we expected although the tour guide that rain this time of year was unusual.

Although there were a lot of tourists at the start of the walk, the further away from the parking lot, the less the tourists.

It was great to see them in their natural habit.

When we got back to the ship we had 7 sea lions playing right by us!
