PRINTS OF WHALES

Arrived in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico in bright sunshine. This was a tender port and we seemed so close to the beaches and cliffs.

We were booked on a ‘whale watching’ trip on small fast Zodiac speed craft. We started getting by getting close to some wonderful cliff-formations and the famous  Cabo ARCH’ and also saw some sea lions sitting on rocks.

Zoomed  then into open water looking for whales! After about 20 minutes we came across some dolphins in formation but no whales!
However we didn’t have to wait long as we soon saw our first whale, a baby soon followed by its mother. We spent about an hour and a half in various locations and saw probably 15 whales…so it was certainly a worthwhile trip.

On the way back we saw turtles, more seals and had a wonderful opportunity to ride some really great waves just before they broke onto the shore.
We did some last minute t-shirt shopping before returning back to the ship seeing a sea-lion sitting on the back of a fishing boat and being fed!
