Having travelled miles to see Alligators, I had heard weird calling noises coming from the pond outside our backyard.....and this morning saw the animal responsible......an alligator.
It is mating season and according to locals the 'gator is calling for a mate!
You can see him here pretty close to the grass at the end of our yard.
He is no danger to humans but small dogs had better beware!
