Athens, Georgia that is! We hit the road just before 8.30 and made 'half way house' by 5pm a distance of 440 miles!
We shared the driving, 2 hours each so it was not too bad.
We also did a little sight-seeing enroute. This is Civil War country!
This part of the world is also FULL of churches. There must be 5 churches for every person! In the middle of nowhere....nothing for miles apart from churches. No shops, just churches!
