Med Cruise

Because of the incredibly low speed for the internet on the ship we were unable to download photos....so now home here are some of the highlights!
We left Southampton in brilliant weather. It was a lovely sailaway!

The first stop, 2 days later was Gibraltar where Dolphins accompanied us on the way out of port.

Next stop was France where we went to a wonderful French town Aix en Provence and had a delightful day in a town that time seemed to have stood still.

This was a fantastic trip and we also learned about French brothels and how although they were legal they weren't allowed to advertise.

Instead the clever brothel owners used the railing design on their balconies to advertise the fact they were 'open for business'!

Next we were off to Italy and a trip to the eternal city of Rome where a soda cost £4/$6! But it is a wonderful city full of history and culture.

Next we were off to Corsica to the beautiful harbour port of Aggacio, lovely place to park a cruise ship!

A lovely place we'd love to go back to!

Another place we found great was Cadiz in Southern Spain, really quaint and not what we expected.

Lisbon the next port we stayed on the ship, we had parked in a great position and wanted to enjoy the beautiful weather.

The last stop was Vigo another lovely little port where we docked in the city centre.

We are now home but there will be a few more blog entries in the coming days so check back again!
