Believe it or not, it was a year ago that we were arriving in Delhi on the first leg of the World trip. We were filled with trepidation....would anyone be waiting at the airport to meet us?!
Apart from the odd challenge, the entire year went pretty smoothly. Gillian has a couple of poorly days in Argentina but apart from that we had brilliant health throughout. The trips all worked out as expected and we met some brilliant people. Derek and his family in Australia were fantastic, loaning us their car and getting a tour of Melbourne in the school mini bus was a weird but wonderful highlight of this great City.
I will continue posting the odd highlight of the trip but now we look forward rather than back. Steve is now happily married and Katy will god willing in the next few weeks produce a healthy baby. Even they don't know the sex so we like them don't know if to buy pink or blue!
There will be a new episode in our 'life book' but the chapter of the 2012 World Tour is one we will remember for a long time.
