We are on
‘Radiance of the Seas’ for an 18 day cruise that will take in a number of ports
in Australia as well as New Zealand.
We were not
quite prepared for such a change in weather from Perth to Albany and yesterday
in Esperance where the temperature has dropped by 30 degrees……so we gone from
the 90’s to the 60’s. We tendered in Esperance, a one horse town where the
horse had gone walkabouts but Gill had booked a tour and we saw some beaches.
Not the best of weather to check out the surf although the sand was so white
and pure it looks like snow. We also saw our first kangaroo!
Evenings on
board are spent drinking and eating and there was also a good show featuring
the music of Billy Joel and Elton John.
