Today was a
return journey back to Melbourne and then through into the Yarra Valley.
Originally we had planned to take the faster
inland route but had enjoyed the Ocean Road so much that we’d did it in
reverse!
We didn’t
stop at many places and didn’t do the full road trip but this time got on the
sand as close to the ‘12 Apostles’ as you can.
We moved in land after Lorne,
again it was a great trip that we really recommend!
Hit
Melbourne at rush hour, think M25/I4! Slow going before getting through and
getting out into the countryside the other side of Melbourne. We are staying in
a very quaint village in a small hotel that has no restaurant but lays on a
stretch limo
as part of the deal to take you to a restaurant at the top of one
of the mountains. It was fab and we saw the lights of Melbourne come on.
What a
great day!
