The Captains Cocktail Party was its usual ‘aren’t we a lovely ship and my officers great’ affair but the champagne was free and it gave Gillian a chance to dress up a bit!

In the morning arrived in Adelaide, the weather was much better although still quite cool it was nice to see the sun! We had dolphins swimming right beside us which made a nice start to the morning.

Got a train into Adelaide as the port is 30 minutes from the City. The train station was opposite so this was easy. Adelaide is a pretty City, very clean and a mix of architecture. One minute we felt it was very British, the next very American. We did a GY Walking Tour that covered 6km and we saw most of the City so it is not that big.

 ....and Christmas trees in Spring is pretty strange!
