What a lovely place this is! We were also very lucky with the weather, although it was cool it was bright and sunny and therefore perfect for walking, and we did plenty of that! Gillian had always wanted to visit the city and it didn't disappoint.
Our hotel was by the river and it was interesting to see some of the huge cargo ships that went by that dwarfed the hotel.
The city is certainly one that you can walk around, many interesting squares with lots of history.
Gillian particularly liked this as she is a great Olympic fan and the olympic flame for the sailing events from the Atlanta games is on the waterfront.
There were plenty of great squares all back by historical facts and we ended up wandering for the best part of the day although we did stop in an English pub at lunchtime!
