After a leisurely breakfast here at the Melbourne Marriott (thanks Mr Colvin) we were picked up by Derek and Lorinda (minus Lucas and Zack) and given a further tour of some of Melbourne's sights previously not seen.
In the evening we wanted to thank Derek and Lorinda for all their help in planning the trip, sharing their car, family and huge amounts of time so took them out. Started on the 35th floor of a hotel that had great views of the City, especially from the bathroom!
We visited the war memorial that was very moving before moving onto the Botanical Gardens right in the heart of the City.
Parked at Luna Park and strolled around for a coffee and bracing walk on the pier before we split and got the tram back to the City on our own. More looking around the City, the lack of Xmas activity remains surprising although this mistletoe on the bridge walkway was quite creative.

Then headed across town for an Italian meal that was great fun. Our Australian adventure is coming to an end and it has been fantastic and thanks again to Derek and Lorinda.
