RIO TO BUENOS AIRES

Our Brazilian adventure has come to an end and we were up early to see the sun rise,

have some breakfast and then for the taxi to Rio airport. Unfortunately a bit too early as the check in desks hadn't opened! But the plane was on time and we were into Buenos Aires in the early afternoon. Arrived at hotel which is very nice located in a 'dockside development' part of the City.

The weather was a bit cooler than Rio thankfully and we were able to stroll around the area by the hotel which has been nicely developed.

 

 

We returned back to the hotel to unpack properly and found somehow that we had left Gillian's jewelry box at the back of the safe in the Rio hotel. A panic call to the hotel confirmed they had it and we then tried to get DHL/Fedex to send it here to us....but as it was Friday afternoon there was nothing going out until Monday meaning it would arrive Tuesday with the boat leaving Monday this was not an option. So KY is on the night flight to Rio this evening and the early morning flight back......my bed for the night will be on Argentinian Airlines in an economy seat at 35,000ft....and two more stamps in the passport.

In the evening went for an Argentinian beef supper that was very good.
